Membership Without Privileges

How do you create a following for an old-school commodity with plenty of imposters? Create a club. Through blast emails, newsletters, on-line ads, giveaways and the appropriate media alliances, we attracted dedicated fans for our favorite little black fruits. While members and non-members could access the site equally, members signed up to hear from us on a quarterly basis. Maybe that’s why last year’s blast click-thru rate was consistently 2 times the national average. Our ad click-thru rate was 3 times the statistical average. We provide recipes, cooking ideas and nutritional information and they share with their friends. Did we mention we started all this more than a decade before Facebook?
